Disability Insurance for Traveling Nurses in District of Columbia

Considerations for Traveling Nurses

Traveling nurses have special considerations when it comes to disability income insurance. Most importantly, coverage cannot be tied to any single employer, but rather must be tied to the nurse as a single individual regardless of employer or location. Additionally, the definition of disability should be specific to her own occupation so that benefits are payable even if the traveling nuse is able to do something else.
