Meet Rip Curtis
Rip Curtis is a disability insurance broker licensed in all fifty (50) states. Disability Underwriters is the business name under which Rip operates in Washington State.
Rip's insurance practice focuses on disability insurance in both group and individual forms. Rip's twenty-six (26) years of experience and specialization allows him to navigate the additional underwriting demands and contract complexities unique to disability insurance.
He is a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS).
Rip grew up in Alaska where he learned the importance of self-reliance and a dependable back-up plan. He graduated from the University of Washington with a major in finance in 1992. Currently, he lives in Bellevue with his wife of 22 years (with no back-up plan) and two kids away in college. In his leisure time he enjoys reading about social and political history, off-road motorcycling, fixing things around the house, and hanging out with friends.
